The Art of Dry Brushing

Dry Brushing – Dry brushing is an age old natural remedy of brushing the skin with a natural bristle brush to stimulate lymph flow, improve circulation, exfoliate the skin and help reduce cellulite. Dry brushing should be done before you shower.

How to dry brush – Start at the bottoms of the feet and work upwards towards the heart with light strokes including the legs, buttocks, stomach and back. Stroke upwards on the arms starting at the hands towards the shoulders, make sure to include the under arms. Stroke downwards from the neck including the upper back and chest towards the heart. The brush strokes should not be too hard or rough!
